Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to request deletion of your Nightgauge Platform
account (api.nightgauge.dev, the web dashboard and the mobile app) and the
data associated with it. It applies to Platform accounts only — the
open-source VS Code extension, CLI and SDK run on your machine and hold no
account of yours to delete; uninstalling them removes their local state.
What deletion removes
Deleting your account removes:
- your user record — name, email address and authentication identifiers;
- your Platform account, including license state and settings;
- your team membership — your role and membership entries in any team or organization you belong to on the Platform;
- your audit data — the audit-log entries of actions taken in the dashboard that are tied to your account.
Retention window
Platform account, team and audit data is retained for as long as your account exists, and for up to 30 days after you delete it, matching Privacy Policy § 8. If this page and the Privacy Policy ever disagree, the Privacy Policy is the source of truth.
How to request deletion
Deletion is by request today — email privacy@nightgauge.dev from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. This is the same rights address used in Privacy Policy § 9, and we answer every request within 30 days at no charge, the same window that section states for any rights request.
We verify a deletion request is coming from the account holder before acting on it — this page collects no form, so it cannot be used to submit a request on someone else’s behalf.
